No matter how many people live there or how quickly the population is growing, Peter Cornel wants to make cities cleaner places to live.

‘I see sewage as a resource’

It’s not the raw sewage flowing directly into the rivers and percolating into the groundwater that shocks Peter Cornel. It’s that no one cares enough to do anything about it.

Peter Cornel, born in 1951, has stuck his nose in some smelly places – for the good of everyone living in a megacity.
